Milk Cake/Kalakand

        Milk Cake Recipe

Ingredients:-

  1. Milk (1 litre)
  2. Alum/Fitkari (Pinch)
  3. Sugar(180 gms)
  4. Ghee( 2 tbsp)
  5. Cardamon Powder(Pich)
  6. Crushed Almonds(4-5)
  7. Crushed Pistachio (6-7)

Recipe:-

  1. Take a pan and add 1-litre milk to it and start boiling it until it reduces to 1/3 of the total milk.
  2. Stir the milk continuously in the pan.
  3. After milk becomes 1/3 add finely crushed Alum/Fitkari to add.
  4. Now mix Milk and alum very well.
  5. After 5-sec stir the milk continuously
  6. Now add Sugar In two parts Firstly we add 100gms sugar to it and stir it continuously.
  7. After 100 gms sugar dissolved we add our 80 gms sugar to it.
  8. Add Cardamon powder to it.
  9. Now add 2 Tbsp Ghee/butter to it.
  10. Stir until it doesn't stick to the pan.
  11. Now grease a container with ghee/butter and add all the mixture to it.
  12. Decorate it with some crushed almonds & pistachios.
  13. Wrap it in a towel for 2 hours until it settles down.
  14. Now our MILK CAKE is ready.
