Milk Cake/Kalakand
Milk Cake Recipe
Ingredients:-
- Milk (1 litre)
- Alum/Fitkari (Pinch)
- Sugar(180 gms)
- Ghee( 2 tbsp)
- Cardamon Powder(Pich)
- Crushed Almonds(4-5)
- Crushed Pistachio (6-7)
Recipe:-
- Take a pan and add 1-litre milk to it and start boiling it until it reduces to 1/3 of the total milk.
- Stir the milk continuously in the pan.
- After milk becomes 1/3 add finely crushed Alum/Fitkari to add.
- Now mix Milk and alum very well.
- After 5-sec stir the milk continuously
- Now add Sugar In two parts Firstly we add 100gms sugar to it and stir it continuously.
- After 100 gms sugar dissolved we add our 80 gms sugar to it.
- Add Cardamon powder to it.
- Now add 2 Tbsp Ghee/butter to it.
- Stir until it doesn't stick to the pan.
- Now grease a container with ghee/butter and add all the mixture to it.
- Decorate it with some crushed almonds & pistachios.
- Wrap it in a towel for 2 hours until it settles down.
- Now our MILK CAKE is ready.
